Sophie Wessex ‘very sensitive’ with royal charity work says expert
Express.co.uk readers were asked if Sophie should play a bigger role after Meghan and Harry leave.
Of the 2,551 people who voted, 2,331 voters (91%) said yes.
Only 202 people (nine percent) didn’t think so.
And 18 voters (zero percent) said they didn’t know.

Readers were quick to share their views on whether the Queen should give Sophie more tasks.
One wasted no time in praising the royal, as they put it: “Sophie is dignified, gracious and performs her public acts with genuine compassion.”
Another reader added: “Sophie is a thousand times better than Harry and his wife as a working royal because she is loyal and sincere in the service of the Queen and the country.”
A third person called Sophie “a sure pair of hands”.

Meghan and Harry resigned as royals last March
And another person just said, “Get rid of them!”
The Queen has not officially confirmed this new “venture”.
But it could be made up of Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, as well as Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
The Queen’s daughter, Princess Anne, would also be included.

Readers were quick to share their take on whether the Queen should give Sophie more tasks
A royal source told the Mirror that “the family is united to explore possibilities of working together to highlight the causes close to their hearts, help each other and help the country at the same time”.
The source added that the royal family “is already working on opportunities for next year and beyond.”
They said: “The queen has often said that they” have to be seen to be believed “- it comes from the top.”
Sophie and Edward were also among eight royals who gathered outside Windsor Castle last month when Kate and William returned from their royal train tour after personally thanking covid heroes across the UK .

Royal author Angela Levin added that Sophie and Prince Edward “feel a bit left behind” in the past as members of the royal family.
She told Express.co.uk: “I’m sure the Earl and Countess of Wessex will step up.
“They have been doing it recently since Harry and Meghan left. They are very keen to do things, I think they feel they have been left out a bit and now it’s a chance.
“The Countess is of course an incredibly hard worker, very good with people and the Queen adores her.
“They live very close to the Queen in Windsor and they often went to church on Sundays before the lockdown. And she learned to ride so she could ride with His Majesty.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry have already organized a series of projects this year after signing multi-million pound deals with Spotify and Netflix.
The Duke’s friend and ITV News presenter Tom Bradby said the two were “happy” with their new lives.
But he added that Harry was “heartbroken by the situation with his family” after moving to the United States.
He said on Sunday’s episode of Love Your Weekend With Alan Titchmarsh: “So Are They Unhappy?” No, I think they’re happy, the things they’re doing turn them on.
“I think he’s heartbroken about the situation with his family, you don’t necessarily have to have knowledge to find out, but I think it’s true.”
