The first Replacements album – 1981 Sorry mom, I forgot to take out the trash– receives a reissue of the deluxe edition. It is released on October 22 via Rhino. The 4xCD / 1xLP set includes 100 tracks, including 67 unreleased tracks, such as raw mixes, demos and alternate takes. The set also includes the band’s first demos from the early 1980s, as well as a professionally recorded concert in 1981. See what the set looks like below and find the tracklist on Rhino.
The new collection comes complete with a 12×12 hardcover book with rarely seen photos and detailed cover notes from replacement biographer Bob Mehr. Former band manager and Twin / Tone Records co-founder Peter Jesperson also wrote about the band’s debut.
