After announcing to the New York Jets that he was planning to sign, linebacker Anthony Barr got cold-eyed, changed his mind and informed the Vikings that he would be coming back in Minnesota, confirmed Tuesday a source at ESPN.
Barr will sign a five-year $ 67.5 million contract with $ 33 million guarantees. There are financial incentives for bags of up to $ 12 million, a source told ESPN, confirming a report from the NFL, which for the first time announced the news.

An injury to the injured thigh has limited Barr to 13 games in 2018, his record since his rookie season. He scored two games against two teams with the Miami Dolphins last season, but also finished with an average of 55 tackles.
Named to four consecutive pro bowl bowls after a record year in 2015, Barr is one of four Minnesota players eligible for an end-of-season contract extension. Instead, the off-season went off without the linebacker signing a new deal, forcing him to play his fifth-year option in 2018.
