The Houston Texans finalized an exchange with the Miami Dolphins against left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills, said a source to Adam Schefter of ESPN Saturday.
Texans send their first-round picks in 2020 and in '21, a second round pick in '21, offensive tackle Julie 'n Davenport and cornerback Johnson Bademosi in Miami, indicated the source. Houston will also receive a fourth round pick in 2020 and a sixth round pick in Miami 21 to complete the deal.
Miami will now have two picks in each of the first three rounds of the NFL 2020 draft. Dolphins general manager Chris Grier has set a priority to build a pipeline of projects in 2020 and 2021, while the company has a number of top picks. The team, led by new coach Brian Flores, is trying to convert into a competitor.

The Dolphins will likely be in a prime position to put their quarterback of the future at the top of the repechage, either through their own placement or by using their extra selections to trade. Miami exercised the fifth year 2020 option of Tunsil. He will be under contract with the Texans for the next two seasons. Miami has had contractual discussions with Tunsil this season, but no significant progress has been made.
