A new Defense Department study has found filtration is better on airplanes than at home or in operating rooms, reducing the risk of contracting coronavirus while traveling. Jeff Flock of FOX Business with more.
Nearly 100 passengers were evacuated from a Southwest Airlines plane at Thurgood Marshall International Airport in Baltimore / Washington after receiving a written threat.
Spokesmen from the Southwest and the FBI office in Baltimore confirmed to FOX Business that the threat arose on Monday evening.

“Earlier this evening, the crew of Flight 2104 identified a written threat upon arrival at Thurgood Marshall International Airport in Baltimore / Washington. Our crew followed protocol by advising the proper authorities and moving the aircraft to a remote location pending further instructions, ”a Southwest spokesperson wrote via email. “Authorities quickly arrived and boarded the plane, safely transferring the 95 passengers and six crew members to the airport terminal via buses.”

Exact details of what was written in the threat or the method of dissemination were not released upon request.
The plane would have been cleared through customs and the passengers would be reunited with their luggage.

“We have fully cooperated with authorities as they have taken additional precautionary measures to secure and thoroughly examine the aircraft,” the Southwest spokeswoman wrote. “We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience caused, the safety of our employees and customers always remains our top priority.”
BWI Airport representatives did not immediately respond to FOX Business’s request for comment.

So far, no arrests have been reported. The FBI assists law enforcement at BWI airport.
