A mother and daughter appear to have been kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight last month after yelling at passengers to give them an aisle seat, according to a video on social media.

The unidentified couple was boarding a flight from Sacramento to San Diego on July 15 when the incident was recorded by a passenger on TikTok. The flight had already been delayed for two hours and was almost full when the two women arrived.

But with no aisle seats open, one of the women started yelling at the passengers to see if someone could give up their aisle seats.

Southwest Airlines has an open seating policy, allowing passengers to choose their own seats on a first come, first served basis, according to its website.

A flight attendant can be heard saying to the young woman, “We have families. We have young children. No one can scream.”

The young woman denies shouting and replies, “I was just trying to make the announcement.”

She then says that they will sit down, but that her mother will “scream and cry” and “hold on to people,” according to the video.

The flight attendant told the couple that passengers would not be safe with this kind of behavior and a flight attendant eventually removed them from the flight, said the woman who took the video.

The passenger said the flight was delayed for another hour due to the explosion before it finally took off.

Fox News has contacted Southwest Airlines for comment.
