The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has been leaked. Don’t worry, you won’t get any spoils here – we’re awaiting the official 1080p release, thank you very much – but it might be time for an impromptu social media outage.
It seems to some that the wait for the No Way Home trailer to launch has been too long. A trailer with an unfinished CGI does the trick and you can already see the results: Global Twitter trends and YouTube thumbnails have spoiled some of the MCU’s less well-kept secrets.
Our advice? Start putting filters in place and stop doomscrolling on Twitter, otherwise you risk spoiling some of the big surprises from the first trailer ahead of time.
Oddly enough, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland recently posted on his Instagram Story that “You’re Not Ready,” potentially indicating that an official trailer release could be imminent.
Sony is hosting an event at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on August 23, and there’s every chance the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will be shown there behind closed doors before being released to the public later this week.
In other news about the Spidey-centric leaks, a recent photo appears to show Doctor Strange meeting Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. This crossbreed was supported by a series of first looks at the No Way Home merchandise, which features Benedict Cumberbatch and Wong’s Supreme Wizard (Benedict Wong) in the Sanctum Santorum with the webhead.
