For example, in Europe, where only one Premium account costs € 9.99 per month, Premium Duo costs € 12.49 per month. It is also cheaper than the family business plan. The problem is that in order to enjoy Premium Duo, you and the person sharing the subscription must live under the same roof.
The subscription includes two additional benefits: Duo Mix and Duo Hub. The first is a playlist generated by an algorithm that automatically updates each week and mixes songs that you and your important partner or roommate have on a large rotation. Duo Hub, on the other hand, makes it easy to manage account details and settings. In accordance with the company's recent free trial upgrade, new users can try Premium Duo for free for three months.
Outside of Latin America, Premium Duo is available in three European countries – Denmark, Ireland and Poland – where it has been available since Spotify began testing the plan in March. Although Spotify does not indicate whether it plans to market Premium Duo in the US, the current increase suggests that the company plans to at least make it available worldwide.
