Upcoming games on Stadia
Ubisoft creates an open-world Star Wars game
Wednesday saw the revelation of some very good news – the Star Wars universe is expanding beyond EA. Ubisoft is currently in development on a new Star Wars video game that uses the open world concept popularized by titles such as Breath of the Wild and Spider-Man. Details on this new version of Ubisoft Star Wars are slim, but apparently the game is being developed by Ubisoft Massive, which is partly responsible for The Crew 2 and The Division 2. It is not known where the game takes place in the game. Star Wars timeline or what characters we’ll be following.
The best unspoken news here is that, as the game is being developed by Ubisoft, this Star Wars title is almost guaranteed to debut on Stadia, likely same day and date with other platforms. It’s really exciting!

Fall Guys maybe?
As some members of the community noted this week, Mediatonic launched a poll this week asking for feedback from the community. The Fall Guys developer asked where people wanted the game to come out, placing Stadia second on the list. This does not means the game is definitely coming, but it’s clear that it’s at least being considered.
What we play this week
Am clean – Outcasts
Between CES 2021 and the launch of the Galaxy S21, gaming has been low on my priority list. The little time I had to play was spent with the Outcasters, if only to remind me how bad I am at this game. The Stadia exclusive is such a great concept and is super fun even when you lose, but man, i’m just struggling to get something close to ‘skill’. finally I managed to win the Last Caster Standing match on Friday, but it was a bit of a hollow victory as it was a match with mostly robots. In another game, I was able to take third place in a group of real players.
Considering the heavy workload we saw this week, I was not alone, nor did my colleagues have time to devote to Stadia.
