The former director of the co-creator of comics, Stan Lee, was accused of mistreating the last writer.

Kyle Morgan faces five counts of abuse against Lee – including unlawful imprisonment, fraud and forgery – all of which resulted from an incident last summer.

The visionary superhero Marvel died last November at the age of 95.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Superior Court confirmed that a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Morgan – who has not yet been commented on – had been issued.

Lee, who first imagined The Fantastic Four for Marvel Comics in 1961 and later created titles like Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk, suffered a loss of vision and memory loss near the end of his career. life.

His last months were marked by contradictory claims as to who was running his business.

Mr. Morgan, a 42-year-old distributor of souvenirs in New York City, became close to Lee after the death of his wife, Joan, who died in 2017, also 95 years old.

The charges follow earlier filings against Mr. Morgan in May and June of last year, including falsely reporting an emergency and falsely reporting a crime, as well as a breach of probation conditions.

This culminated in a judge who granted a restraining order made by Lee's family after Mr Morgan was accused of moving the tycoon from his home at midnight to isolate him from his caregivers.

Addressing Variety at the time, Mr. Morgan denied the charges.
