After the Capitals were completely demolished in their first game at Raleigh, they performed better in the fourth tight game, but still lost. The Hurricanes opened the game with a goal just seconds after the start of the first period and a greasy crowd behind them all night, and Petr Mrazek imposed himself as a big win to help them win 2-1. . As a result, the Canes return to Washington with the series all tied up.
The Blues managed to defeat the Jets in a breathtaking way, eliminating a two-goal deficit in the third period and scoring the winner just 15 seconds from the end of regulation time. The game has been reviewed but the goal has been maintained. According to the rulebook, this seemed like the right choice.
Then, with only 15 seconds on the clock, Tyler Bozak made a saucer pass in the middle of the ice and Jaden Schwartz scored it in Winnipeg's goal for the winner.
Schwartz has certainly chosen a good place to score his first goal of the series.
Sharks turn the tables
After scoring in the first 90 seconds of each of the last three games, the Sharks turned the tables for the Golden Knights and scored a quick goal against Vegas in the fifth game. It's Tomas Hertl who scored at 1:16 of Thursday. in San Jose, giving the Sharks a boost in front of their home crowd in a forced elimination match.
The Sharks doubled when Logan Couture buried a rebound on the doorstep later in the first period.

Thanks to Mrazek's strong showing, the Canes scored two home goals in a row and returned to Washington with a balanced 2-2 series.
Something to watch for: T.J. Oshie left Thursday's match late in the third period after this piece:
Oshie was suffering a lot of pain after the collision and it seemed to be a problem affecting the upper body – perhaps an injury to the shoulder or collarbone.

Who would have thought that Winnipeg would be able to beat Carolina's departure? Adam Lowry only needed 12 seconds to get the Jets on the board – setting a franchise record for the fastest goal to start a playoff game.
The Blues may not want to get into the habit of leaving their own zip code to the guys in front of the net.
Caroline taking advantage
After the fast start of the Hurricanes, Alex Ovechkin scored a power play goal … and you can probably guess where he is coming from. After the goal, Ovechkin had a little extra for the Carolina crowd, who knocked him out of the door after his fight with Andrei Svechnikov in Game 3.
But the Hurricanes took the advantage at the last minute of the period, taking advantage of a bad change in the Capitals and making a nice puck move to revive Teuvo Teravainen.
