Legendary composer John Williams is back to provide the score for J.J. Abrams & # 39; Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker later this year, but first, he gave us a new piece that will play Batuu, the outpost of the planet Outer Rim, which serves as a framework for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park land.

John Williams is just the best, is not it? This is the man who marked our childhood and pushed the original Star wars on the edge of the territory of masterpiece with its iconic compositions and memorable motifs. Williams is without a doubt the most famous film composer in the world. He could have chosen to avoid playing music for a theme park and nobody would have thought less of him. But his passion for this franchise is deep, and you can hear it on this title, a song that has aspects of wonder, excitement and mystery – feelings and emotions that he could create with his music for more than 60 years.
Listen to the way the song goes from brass to strings at the mark: 20. This looks like the perfect Music to accompany the first time you enter Galaxy's Edge and admire all the breathtaking details of the park around you. But this is not where you will hear this track in the park.
Early reports suggested that we would only hear this song in "attractions," unlike typical theme park tracks that sound like hidden speakers when you walk around. Remember that Galaxy's Edge is supposed to be a totally immersive experience, and hearing a fully orchestrated piece like this as you walk around Batuu would raise questions about the origin of the music and about the why the inhabitants of the outpost would play it. Meanwhile, guests will have the opportunity to enter the Oga Cantina to hear the DJ R3X which offers extra-terrestrial beats reminiscent of the song heard in the canteen of the original film on Tatooine.
So expect to hear this music as you live through the skies at Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and maybe even during Rise of the Resistance. (Of course, it's still possible to hear recycled versions of movie tracks during movies.) If this YouTube integration is not enough for you, the song can be downloaded to iTunes, Amazon Music, and Google Play and broadcast to places like Spotify and Pandora.
Soak it, people. This is probably one of the last major pieces of Star Wars music presented by John Williams, who said he was retiring from the franchise after The rise of Skywalker.
