Already announced Star wars project based on Knights of the Old Republic video game series landed a screenwriter, according to buzzfeed.
The adaptation, based on the video game series of the same name launched in 2003, was written by Alita: Battle Angel the scriptwriter Laeta Kalogridis.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy mentioned for the first time the project under development in a conversation with MTV News. Kennedy did not specify whether Knights of the Old Republic adaptation would be a television or film project, although buzzfeed reports that it will be a film, the first of a potential trilogy.
