Star Wars: The Mandalorian Had Rey Easter Egg In Its Last Episode

“The Mandalorian” recently included a reference to Rey from the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy.

What’s going on?

The fourth episode of Season 2 – titled “The Siege” – showed Din Djarin / The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) bringing the Child (Baby Yoda) to the planet Nevarro, so that they can have their ship repaired. While there, The Mandalorian leaves the child hanging out at a school.

One of the girls at school giggles at Baby Yoda. And she has a haircut that many will find familiar.

Is it Rey?

It’s almost certainly not Rey – Rey Skywalker – since she appeared to be 19 during the events of the sequel to the trilogy, which would make her around 4 by the time of “The Mandalorian.”

Rey was also stuck on Jakku from a young age. “The girl in the class appears to be older than Rey when she first arrived on the desert planet, which means this girl cannot be Rey until she is taken to Jakku. This Easter egg is more than likely a fun nod to the character’s iconic hairstyle, ”ScreenRant reports.
