Coffee is far from the only product that's attractive to Starbucks customers. It turns out that the "Cat Paw Cup" can be just as popular, with the Chinese exclusive being sold in less than a day from its release on Tuesday. In fact, the article was so coveted that it caused chaos among some disgruntled customers.

The Cat Paw Cup, part of the Cherry Blossom series in China, is a simple transparent cup, whose signature detail is the carved interior of the paw. When a drink is poured inside, the shape of the paw becomes more obvious. The original concept attracted a number of fans, many of whom were queuing the day before to secure their purchase of 199 RMB (about US $ 30). Unfortunately for some, the limited availability of goblets caused the drop of the first drop in less than a day, and the subsequent release in one second, depending on Delish. Since then, videos have emerged, showing customers competing for merchandise in the middle of Starbucks.

The Cat Paw Cup phenomenon prompted speculation that Starbucks deliberately attempted to increase demand, although CNN reports that the company denied this in a message posted on social media.
