Starbucks now offers vegan oatmeal in some US locations

[ad_1]

Starting today, Starbucks will be offering a vegan oat milk option at five Starbucks Reserve locations in San Francisco, Seattle and New York. The stores on the reserve are a more upscale Starbucks experience and the chain often launches new concepts through these outposts. The chain first launched an oatmeal option alongside its other dairy-free milks at its UK locations in January 2018. Starbucks also serves oatmeal in three of its Princi bakery establishments in Seattle, Chicago and New York. The popularity of oatmeal, popularized by the Swedish brand Oatly, is on the rise with many companies entering the lucrative sector. Over the last few months, So Delicious, a Danone-owned company, has introduced vegan yogurt and ice cream flavors to the oat milk base, Quaker Oats has created a range of oat milk and IKEA has launched its vegan oatmeal smoothies in limited edition.
