Competitive games don’t stop at FPS and MOBAs, these days there are all kinds of games you can “compete” in at the esports level to prove that you are the best. Yet this news may come as a surprise. Valley of stars creator ‘ConcernedMonkey‘and Stardew Valley YouTuber’ UnsurpassableZ ‘have announced that the social farming sim is hosting its first-ever competitive cup.
The tournament kicks off next month on September 4th. The creator says it will be “a competition of skills, knowledge and teamwork” featuring some of Stardew Valley’s “most dedicated players” and that there is a total prize pool of over 40,000. $ USD.
As you can see in the trailer above, the teams have already been selected and will have to complete various challenges to earn the most points. UnsurpassableZ has uploaded a video featuring the players and sharing information about the challenges. There will be over 100 tasks – and they range from collecting each egg and hunting for eggs to handing out a lager to Pam.
