Stardew Valley update 1.5 is almost here

[ad_1]

Stardew Valley came out over four years ago and has developed Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone hasn’t slowed down as he continues to improve the game and add more features. One of its biggest content updates is version 1.5, and Barone said it’s finally close to release.

Writing on Twitter, Barone said his new update was on the “home stretch” of development and most of the effort is now on polishing and fixing the remaining bugs. He added that the new features included will make it interesting to browse the game from the start, but the majority of the content in the update is aimed at end-game players.

Earlier this year, Barone posted exciting new content for Stardew Valley, and an image he shared included a new backdoor in Willy’s cabin. Split-screen co-op play is a feature that we know for sure is coming to both consoles and PC. Barone said the total number of players supported can vary depending on the system, possibly with four-player support on some platforms and two-player support on others.

The popularity of Stardew Valley has arguably exceeded that of its inspiration: Harvest Moon. Barone’s project started because he wanted to play something similar to the previous games in the Harvest Moon series, and it became a runaway success. By early 2020, it had sold 10 million copies.
