The Indiana Jones game announced today by Bethesda will not impact the development of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, confirmed Pete Hines, Bethesda’s chief marketing officer.
Likewise, Hines says Bethesda’s Todd Howard will continue to focus primarily on directing Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, although he is committed to the game Indiana Jones as an executive producer. Responding to fans on Twitter who were concerned about how many projects Howard is taking on at once, Hines clarified Howard’s priorities at Bethesda.
“Todd is currently EP on many [Bethesda Game Studios] and other projects, such as the Fallout TV show. Its main focus remains the making of the next Starfield and TES6 games, which are not affected by today’s news, ”Hines said.

First announced at E3 2018, Starfield is Bethesda’s next big project after Fallout 76, though details have been very scarce. Howard himself said in September that “this is getting really good hype for a game that nobody has seen.”
That’s right – other than a very cryptic announcement teaser, Xbox hasn’t posted much on Starfield. We know that it has been in development for over 10 years, is a single player sci-fi game and has the potential to be an Xbox / PC exclusive due to the acquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft.
As for The Elder Scrolls 6, it will release at some point after Starfield, and as such, we have even fewer details on it. Like Starfield, it’s unclear whether the next Elder Scrolls game will hit Sony and Nintendo consoles, but Xbox CFO Tim Stuart has suggested Bethesda games will be “first or better or better” on the platforms. Xbox forms.
