Attorney General Kim Foxx called Jussie Smollett a celebrity "washed" just two weeks before dismissing all the charges against him for allegedly triggering a massive police investigation based on a big and big lie.
Foxx sent text messages to some staff – this according to CBS2 in Chicago. The result – it seems to say that the grand jury has grossly overloaded the actor "Empire", especially compared to another accused of celebrities – R. Kelly.
Foxx wrote … "Pedophile with 4 victims, 10 counts, washed-up celebrity lied to cops, 16 years old." As we reported, Kelly was accused of 10 counts of indictment aggravated criminal sexual assault.
As you know … the state attorney dismissed all 16 counts of indictment against Jussie and suggested that he had performed a community service – which he did not do. Point of fact … he worked at Jesse Jacksonthe charity for a few hours the weekend before the charges were dismissed, but this was not ordered or monitored by the court.
The city of Chicago is now sue Jussie for all investigative costs and various penalties, which could amount to half a million dollars.
Foxx says in the texts that it was clearly a case of overcharging … as she said, accusing Jussie of 16 counts for a minor crime "becomes Exhibit A."
