Penn State football landed at No. 15 in the first AP Top 25 poll of the 2019 college football season.
The Nittany Lions were ranked in the first AP Top 25 poll of the season for three consecutive years. They were the No. 10 team entering last season and started 2017 as the No. 6 team in the country. Prior to 2017, Penn State had not earned a pre-season ranking in the AP Top 25 poll since 2010.
