Inscryption, Lil Gator Game, The Good Life, and other intriguing demos to line up
A decade ago, the overwhelming sales of Steam really brought me back to PC gaming for the first time in a long time, but as gaming deals and giveaways have become so prevalent not only on PC, but consoles as well, I feel like we have changed. We are now in the age of demos and I love what Steam has done to encourage them with its Steam Next Fest events.
Steam Next Fest takes place again October 1-7 with an avalanche of new and familiar faces. Again, there are hundreds of demos to potentially check out.
Congratulations to Eric for his setting Encryption (from the manufacturer of Pony Island) back on my radar with his recent practical impressions. I mean, look at this weird mood:
I’ll throw you a bunch of names and we’ll see what sticks. After scrolling through the list of titles I recognized or artwork that jumped out at me, opening too many browser tabs and collapsing things from there, here are my recommendations.
