The former Washington quarterback told police the altercation began after his wife got angry that he left for a nightclub with friends without waiting for the whole group. According to the report, the couple were celebrating their recent wedding with friends in Las Vegas.

He added that the argument was verbal and that he had no recollection of being punched in the mouth, despite his obvious injuries.
