Steelers form trio ahead of pre-season game against Eagles

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their first preseason victory after their 16-3 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the annual NFL Hall of Fame game. With the players on leave on Friday, the organization was examining the talent still available in the market.

The other players who trained were Curtis Bolton and TJ Morrison.

Bolton is a linebacker who frequented Oklahoma before signing with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted rookie free agent in the 2019 NFL Draft. Bolton tore up his ACL in 2019 and was placed on the roster Physically unable to play to start the 2020 season. In October 2020, he was released by the Packers and was signed by the Houston Texans to their practice squad. After signing a future / reserve contract with the Texans, he was released in March.

Morrison is a defensive back to Stony Brook who was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2021 NFL Draft. He was released in July of this year and is still looking. of his next professional team.

So, to recap, the Steelers have welcomed an attacking goaltender, linebacker and defensive back. Read what you want, but the Steelers have yet to pull the trigger to sign any of those aforementioned players.
