Steelers LB Bud Dupree (ACL) probably finished for the season

Steelers passer Bud Dupree was injured in the second half of the Steelers’ 19-14 win over the Ravens on Wednesday and it’s probably the last game played for the standout linebacker this season – and possibly with Pittsburgh.

Early tests on Dupree indicate a torn ACL, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Aditi Kinkhabwala reported after the game.

Tests are coming to confirm the injury, but the team expect Dupree to be lost for the remainder of the season.

During his post-game press conference, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Dupree was injured, being assessed and Tomlin would likely have an update on Thursday, but nothing more.

On Wednesday, Dupree, a 2015 first round, had eight sacks (second on the team) and started Wednesday with five tackles.

Dupree is expected to be a free agent in 2021 as he plays on the franchise tag.
