Stephanie Niznik Dead: "Everwood", the actress of "Star Trek" dies at 52

Actress Stephanie Niznik, who played a key supporting role in The WB's Everwood, died at the age of 52, our sister site Variety reports. Niznik died suddenly in Encino, California on June 23.

She is best known for her role as Nina Feeney, the sweet neighbor of the Brown family and the eventual love of Dr. Andy Brown's love of Treat Williams, Everwood, a role she played during the four seasons. (Nina also met Scott Wolf's Dr. Jake at one point.) Niznik is back for the show's 15th anniversary panel at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour in 2017.

Niznik also had roles on Murder Diagnosis, Star Trek: Enterprise, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, NCIS, Lost and The anatomy of Gray.
