New York fans were crushed Tuesday night as the Boston Red Sox outscored the Yankees in the American League Wild Card Game.
One famous fan in particular was able to express his frustration with the airwaves of his TV show.
“Look, that’s not funny okay? I mean it’s been 12 years since the Yankees have been in this damn world series ”, Stephen A. Smith, disjointed ESPN personality during Wednesday’s episode of “First Take”.
Smith, a die-hard Yankees fan, wasn’t quite able to bite his tongue when it came to his disappointment with Gerrit Cole, bringing up the pitcher’s poor play.
“And that brother can’t come out of the third inning,” Smith said.
He wasn’t happy with Giancarlo Stanton either.
