Stephen Curry and Seth Curry have always been close and amid unfortunate rumors about their family, their close relationship is needed more than ever.
The Golden State Warriors star greeted his younger brother on his 31st birthday, posting a sweet and heartfelt message on Instagram, including a photo of them laughing together in a locker room.
“Happy baby shower to my guy @sdotcurry He’s one of them. Amazing how you do it for you and yours! I love you brother # 31 #reggieyear”
True brotherly love right there.
It might not be the best birthday for Seth, as their parents, Dell and Sonya Curry, are reportedly going through a divorce. As first reported by TMZ, Sonya already filed the documents last June. Many were caught off guard by this shocking development, as the Curries have always been a picture of a perfect family.
Whatever happens, it’s a good thing the two Curry boys are still supporting each other and their sister Sydel.
It should also help that NBA training camps start soon, giving Stephen and Seth some form of respite from personal affairs. Both have always said basketball is their comfort, and it couldn’t be truer these days.
Stephen Curry will once again focus on spearheading the Warriors to end their two-year drought in the NBA playoffs, while Seth Curry will help the Philadelphia 76ers navigate a possible scenario without Ben Simmons.
