While this has yet to be verified on Twitter (for whatever reason), Mets owner Steve Cohen continues to engage with fans on the platform.
On Sunday, Cohen had some useful updates for those same fans.
First, Cohen – in response to a question about the status of Tom seaverthe statue, which should be on display outside Citi Field – tweeted that he expects said statue to be ready and unveiled at the start of the season.
Then, answering a separate question relating to his introductory press conference – scheduled for Tuesday – Cohen indicated a 12:30 p.m. start time for said conference, and also noted that newly appointed team president Sandy Alderson will join him as well.
