Steve Martin receives coronavirus vaccine

You know Steve Martin: actor, comedian, generally charming man.

Well, good news! Steve just received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Of course, Steve couldn’t share the news without throwing a little joke too:

Good news / bad news. Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I got it because I’m 75. Ha! The operation in New York was as smooth as silk (sorry for the @BCDreyer cliché!) And animated to perfection by the US military and National Guard. Thanks to everyone and thanks to science.

He also responded to a question about exactly how he received the vaccine:

I registered online through a NYC dot gov website (sorry I don’t have the exact site) and stood in line at the Javits Center. https://t.co/Ohp3frxy6i

This isn’t the only time Steve has tweeted about the coronavirus – like the time he joked about wearing a giant “Steve Martin” sign above his head.

I always wear a mask when I go out. But something about it left me anxious and unstable. I have thought about the problem, tackled it and here is the solution.

Well, at least that’s something to be positive about!
