US equity futures wavered and oil prices rose on Wednesday, signaling a tentative rebound for major indexes which came under further pressure amid fears of a slowing economic recovery.
S&P 500 futures edged up 0.1%. The broad gauge of equities fell for the sixth time in seven trading days on Tuesday, but remains around 2% below the all-time high reached in early September.
