The Japanese giant Nintendo video game players informed of his successful creation Animal Crossing: New horizons to stop adding political or commercial content, after a variety of users around the world – including pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong – have started posting their own messages.

Nintendo has told businesses and organizations to “refrain from bringing politics into the game” and said those who break the guidelines could be banned.
