The storm that swept the Houston area Sunday afternoon temporarily left hundreds of people without electricity, according to the CenterPoint Energy's Fault Tracking System.

CenterPoint Energy has reported blackouts throughout the region, with a group of homes without electricity between Interstate 69 and the Texas 288, which extends from the medical center area to Dewalt. Three percent of utility customers were without electricity at 12:51.

Cypress, Cinco Ranch, Energy Corridor, South Houston and Pasadena also experienced outages. CenterPoint Energy

The electric current would be restored in most homes around 14h.
