Portland Trail Blazers and head coach Terry Stotts have agreed to a multi-year contract extension.

The Blazers announced the extension on Tuesday but did not reveal the conditions.

The deal was announced a day after the Golden State Warriors swept Portland during the Western Conference Finals. This was the Blazers' first trip to the conference final since 2000.

Portland had its best season for nearly two decades, despite the loss of starting center Jusuf Nurkic, who suffered a leg fracture on March 25th.

Stotts has just finished his seventh season as a Blazers coach and has guided Portland through six consecutive appearances in the playoffs.

Stotts, 61, has 325-249 in seven seasons with Portland and has a career record of 440 to 417 in 11 seasons with the Blazers, Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks.
