Stranger Things Lego unboxing takes us backwards

You will want some help from something other than a Demogorgon to build the first Strange things Lego set. It is designed to be built by two people, with two instructions.

It's upside down that you see. You and a friend literally use Lego to create two different dimensions together.

After Lego Star Wars, Lego Avengers and Lego Harry Potter, the Netflix show of the 80s is the latest hit of pop culture to be immortalized in brick form. Numbered 75810 and comprising 2,287 pieces, the Stranger Things set represents the home of the Byers family. The show began with young Will Byers drawn into the dark and terrifying dimension known as the Upside Down, and the set presents its own mirror image of the brick built house. This Lego set is divided into two sections: just flip everything to make your play time go upside down.

The two halves of the set are basically the same, with the features of the normal house repeated in the Upside Down with a nightmarish twist. Once you have assembled each of the two houses, you then build four trees that attach to the sides of the house and act as sturdy legs, so that you can display the set one way or the other .

The set has more features than the Hawkins Lab has in subjects. In the living room, Joyce had the habit of communicating with her missing son, the wall of letters in the form of letters from the alphabet. They are really illuminated by a luminous Lego brick.

As you build, you recreate different rooms in the house with extras like a boombox, posters hanging on the wall and flyers for missing people for Will and the unfortunate Barb. All these features are found in Upside Down, identical to the house above, with the difference that it is made of gray and blue bricks.

The actors of Stranger Things are also at home. The set includes figurines of Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Will, with Joyce Byers and Sheriff Jim Hopper. Dressed in their usual Season 1 outfits, they are armed with catapults, radios and flashlights, while Eleven sports a blonde wig and wears her favorite waffle, Eggo's. Dustin's compass is a particularly cool accessory.

Also look for a horrible demigorgon minifig.

Sheriff Hopper's Chevrolet Blazer police cruiser is another highlight. You can drive it separately or park in front of the house.

The whole Lego Upside Down Upside Down of Stranger Things is a pretty fun build, especially if you assemble with someone. You build similar models but each with a slight twist, so you can collaborate or even compete with one another. It took us over five hours to assemble the decor, with fun features, stickers, and mini-figurines spread throughout the building.

The release date of the Stranger Thing Lego set is May 14 – that's right, it's on sale now. The set is exclusive to Lego stores and its own website, so you can not buy it anywhere else.

The price is $ 200 in the United States, £ 180 in the United Kingdom and around £ 180 to £ 200 in Europe.

The release date for season 3 of Stranger Things is July 4, 2019 on Netflix. The third season to come is set in 1985, as children grow up in addition to the usual demonic shenanigans.
