Last night's game was a lot of fun until it was not. Cody Bellinger hit a big dong against Madison Bumgarnerwhich was definitely fun. It was part of a five-run sleeve, which seemed like a safe advance until Bumgarner hit his own dong. The Dodgers took a four-point lead in the ninth and tried all their power to blow him up, but managed to win their fourth win in six games this season. Tonight, they have a chance to win the two inaugural series before heading to Satan Field for their first road test of the season.

Stripling (R) |
Ross Stripling gets his second start of the season for the Dodgers. He had played only 76 shots last Friday against Arizona, but he managed three hits and a five-run and one-third walk while eliminating five. Stripling has seen the Giants four times in 2018, with just one of those opportunities coming in. At the start, Stripling started the seventh inning, conceding four hits and two points in 6 1/3. Stripling also scored 1, 1 2/3 and 2 1/3 innings in the Giants' game-off, totaling four hits and no points during that period. Stripling may not last as a starter when injured pickers return, but he is more than capable of playing at this stage. In 59 innings and 1/3 at Dodger Stadium since March 2018, Stripling has an average of 2.28 points and 1.10 WHIP.
The Dodgers will face a third consecutive starter, the southpaw, Derek Holland makes his second start of the season. Holland was hit a bit early, while the Padres scored three points in four innings last Friday. It allowed a runner to reach the second goal in his four innings and allowed seven runners overall. The Dodgers saw Holland six times in 2018, four times as a starter and twice as a relief. Holland closed the Dodgers for 4 2/3 on Aug. 15, but the Dodgers have well knocked out his other three starts. They scored nine points and scored 12 hits against Holland in 13 1/3 in the other three games. Holland's worst start against the Dodgers came on April 27, when he allowed four points in 3 1/3 of the heat. Ironically. it was the only time the Giants won a game against the Dodgers during which Holland launched.
Max Muncy returns to the bench after a bad performance last night. He scored a 0-to-4 with two strikeouts, and his early loss and quick turn in the first almost cost the Dodgers a four-point lead. David Freese is back in the lineup and starts at the beginning. For the giants Kevin Pillar has taken its first steps since its acquisition. Steven Duggar, who made some nice pieces in the center last night, slides to the right. Buster Posey starts the day and, as Bumgarner does not start, the Giants miss two of their most dangerous bats.

Pretty much agree with Chad here. The altitude of Colorado is terrible. I went on a hike there once and I was sick for a week. The Dodgers should just score 15 points per game so they do not have to use Kenley Jansen.

With Walker Buehler and Julio Urias probably not allowed to approach 100 locations, it could be a hefty series of bullpen. is Craig Kimbrel always available, I know it in the comments (yes, I know there is no chance that he will be ready to play in a game by Friday, let me forget my jokes). But seriously, 15 points per match please.
