Succession Season 3 Final Trailer Features Josh Aaronson Adrien Brody and Alexander Skarsgård’s Lukas Matsson.

Scheduled to premiere next month, HBO’s return of the Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs will catch up with the Roy family after Kendall (Jeremy Strong) turned the heat on his tyrannical father Logan (Brian Cox) in the finale of season 2.

As fans expect, the new teaser sequences are bursting with dark humor, sweeping New York City and the media frenzy.

“There’s blood in the water, sharks are coming,” says Logan, as his company Waystar RoyCo enters an uncertain future.

“When will your father die?” Tech founder Matsson casually asks Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin): “… with all due respect, obviously.”

Meanwhile, billionaire activist investor Aaronson steps into this family abyss of betrayal and greed with a few words we all think of: “Thought my family was screwed, this is one level up.”

But it’s not just about the newcomers, as Shiv Roy (Sarah Snook), Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun), Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfayden), Gerri Kellman (J Smith-Cameron) and Connor Roy (Alan Ruck) also make their presence felt.

In June, executive producer Georgia Pritchett revealed that Succession will last for a maximum of five seasons.

“I think the maximum would be five seasons, but maybe more than four. We’re at the end of the shoot for the third season, so at this point [showrunner Jesse Armstrong] says just one more. But it happens every time.

“We have a good end in sight,” she teased.

Succession Season 3 will air on HBO in the US on October 17, while UK fans will be able to watch episodes on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
