Suicide Squad 2: Deadshot Will Smith Will Not Come Back For A Sequel

According to sources, Will Smith will not come back as a Deadshot in Suicide Squad 2.

As reported by Variety, even though it seems that Margot Robbie is coming back under the name of Harley Quinn, Smith will be stepping down from the sequel of the 2016 Suicide Squad because of scheduling issues, although "the decision was made to amicable between the two parties without resentment ". "

The same sources said the studio wanted Smith and Robbie to come back and the rest of the cast a new face.

Following a $ 746-million box-office gain, production of the sequel is expected to begin later this fall and James Gunn, of Guardian of the Galaxy, will be the author and director of the film after his controversial departure of Marvel.

Suicide Squad 2 is scheduled to be released on August 6, 2021.
