And with MKBHD's tweet, it was quickly revealed that Pichai was actually wearing a smart watch made by Fossil.

To be precise, Pichai wore the Fossil Sport (43mm) with a Black Silicone strap. This has been confirmed by Fossil themselves via his official Twitter account.

The Fossil Sport (43mm) currently sells for 199 USD in the United States (which corresponds to 14,000 Rs in India). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and comes with a heart rate tracking with other features.

It is not surprising at all that Pichai is wearing a Fossil smartwatch. Indeed, Google had previously purchased an intellectual property that deals with Fossil's smart watch technology. For this, the research giant had disbursed $ 40 million. The agreement also included a portion of Fossil's R & D team joining Google that would bring a "product innovation that has not yet been commercialized," according to Greg McKelvey, vice-president of Fossil.
