This week, the Volkswagen ID3 launched in Germany, and will begin sales in earnest next year.
But while the ID3 gets stuck, Volkswagen dropped the prices of its e-Golf and e-Up electric cars … because they would have been appropriately priced against the ID3.
Which got us thinking. Are new long-range models good for electric vehicle adoption – if their predecessors are more affordable for mass-market buyers?
