A young low-cost Indian airline named Akasa may be about to enter the country’s commercial aviation sector. Backed by Indian investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and led by former Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube, the new carrier is currently awaiting government approval.

JetBlue arrives in London for test flight

On both sides of the North Atlantic Ocean, there is considerable excitement in the air regarding the upcoming services of JetBlue from the US east coast to London. This increased to a level earlier this week, when the airline made its first test flight from JFK to Heathrow!

The strange case of the diaper thrown on a United Airlines flight

In a bizarre turn of events, reports have revealed that a United passenger was placed on the airline’s no-fly list for throwing a diaper in a plane’s toilet. Aer Lingus is no longer ready to receive A350s
