Super Mario 3D World’s Captain Toad stages received a multiplayer overhaul on Switch

As if the incredible Bowsertron 5000 weren’t enough to get us excited for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser Fury, Nintendo has revealed that the Captain Toad levels featured in the game will now support multiplayer.

Of course, you might remember that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker actually started out as a series of isometric mini-games found in Super Mario 3D World on Wii U. The concept was so good that Nintendo decided to transform it. idea into a new full-fledged game. right – the one that’s now available on Wii U, 3DS, and Switch.

Originally in 3D World on Wii U, Captain Toad’s levels were only for one player, but everything is about to change when the game is re-released on Switch; Nintendo has confirmed on its official website that Captain Toad puzzle stages will now support up to four players. Wahoo!
