If you've ever wondered what it would be like to play through Super Mario 64Cappy is only doing his thing, here's your chance to know it (hopefully).
Super Mario 64 Odyssey is a new project being implemented by a team of Mario modders trying to rebuild all the levels of the 1996 classic in the world of Super Mario Odyssey.
Which means that you can tackle the same levels, but you can now use Odyssey powers such as taking possession of enemies and the use of Cappy to get extra length during a jump. The team is also looking to develop some of the original products. Mario 64 levels too, to give them the same scale (and present thematic challenges for new powers) as found in Odyssey.
Maybe they will, maybe not. Maybe they will stay alone, maybe not. In the meantime, here is a demonstration showing the progress made so far (do not rely on static images and illustrations from the beginning, there is also real gameplay).
