Super Mario Maker 2 may not offer Amiibo support

Super Mario Maker 2 should arrive next month and bring a plethora of features. This includes those who will come back from the first participation in the series as well as the new ones that the fans would have thought of having in the first match. We already know that pre-orders for the upcoming title will come with a stylus, which will help players take full advantage of the Nintendo switch while playing. However, it is beginning to seem that he will miss one thing as a result: the support amiibo.

Given the growing popularity of the amiibo in recent years, especially the benefits that players get from scanning them with their consoles, it would be interesting to see if Nintendo is actually moving away from the small numbers. The user of Reddit "realestmemoryman3" recently shared a thread on Gamefaqs containing some poster images for games. When it comes to those who love Yoshi's Made World, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and in addition, a logo amiibo is present.

However, when it comes to Super Mario Maker 2, there is no amiibo logo on the poster. Generally, if a game supports digit that can be scanned, the logo must be directly on the poster, the game box, etc. Either way, we'll have to wait to see if this is true when Nintendo says something or if the game is out.

Talking about that, Super Mario Maker 2 should arrive on June 28 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. For more on the upcoming title:

"The Mario experience of your dreams has arrived and is brimming with creativity … including yours! Play an almost unlimited number of intensely creative Super Mario levels from players around the world. It's pretty easy to create your own levels with The Wii U GamePad Gamepad gives you the impression that you are simply drawing your ideas on paper, but you can now bring enemies and objects along a playable path like you never dreamed before, which was impossible in traditional games. Mario is now incredibly fun so give free rein to your imagination! "
