Super Rush adds Toadette, New Donk City • Eurogamer.net

Surprise! Nintendo has announced a free update for Mario Golf: Super Rush, which will be available for download tomorrow.

This adds a new Ranked Match mode, a new New Donk City-themed course from Super Mario Odyssey, and – honestly, best of all – Toadette.

Footage of Toadette shows her using the Super Pickax item from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to fire her golf shots. She can also scurry around golf courses while throwing Super Mario Bros. vegetables. 2.

In a list of changes expected tomorrow, Nintendo also mentions “improved motion controls” – but doesn’t go into the exact details of what that might be.

More updates, in the plural, will be coming to Mario Golf: Super Rush later in the year. Birdo?
