Super Smash Bros UltimateThe next fighter has been announced by Nintendo.

From 2017 Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pyra and Mythra will be added as a double character next month. They fill the fourth of the six slots Fighters Pass Volume 2, and will also be available for purchase separately if you do not wish to purchase the full pass.

Pyra is able to use fire-based moves such as Flame Nova, Prominence Revolt, and Blazing End, while Mythra’s light element attacks include Photon Edge, Ray of Punishment, and Foresight.

Pyra and Mythra also have slightly different final smashes.

The addition of the duo to the roster will be accompanied by a new stage set in the back of the Titan Azurda, as well as a selection of music from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Pyra and Mythra are not the first characters in the Xenoblade franchise to play in Smash bros, with Xenoblade Chronicles 1‘s Shulk was already among the characters.
