British model Stella Tennant died suddenly at the age of 50 on Tuesday.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on December 22, 2020,” her family said in a statement to The Sun. “Stella was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to all of us. She will be sorely missed. “
The statement continued, “Her family is asking that her privacy be respected. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date. “
The beauty of Scottish origin came from an aristocratic family; his grandmother was the Hon. Deborah Mitford, the youngest of Mitford’s famous sisters.
Longtime face of the late Karl Lagerfeld, Tennant made her debut in the fashion industry in the early 1990s and quickly gained the attention of photographers such as Steven Meisel and Bruce Weber.

She also took part in the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, dazzling alongside other British models like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Karen Elson.
