Susan Sarandon seems to shoot Warren at a Sanders event

Susan Sarandon, actress and Oscar-winning activist, appeared to be attacking Senator Elizabeth Warren on Monday during a Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign event in Iowa.

"This is not anyone who was Republican," Sarandon told the crowd during his introduction of Sanders, according to Holly Otterbein, Politico reporter.

Sarandon, a supporter of Sanders, did not mention Warren's name, but the Massachusetts senator was a registered Republican in the mid-1990s.

WARREN STATES TO LITERACY INDIVIDUAL AMERICANS: "I HAVE MISTAKES"

"I was a Republican because I thought those were the ones who best supported the markets," Warren told Politico in 2011. "I think that's no longer the case."

Warren and Sanders – two Liberal favorites – voted at the top of the overcrowded Democratic presidential primary platoon.

A national survey released last week by The Economist / YouGov showed that Warren was in second place with 20%, while Sanders was just behind with 16%. Former Vice President Joe Biden dominated this poll with 21% support.
