The disturbing incident was captured by security cameras, showing a brown sedan pulling up beside a mother and her three children strolling down a sidewalk.

A man according to police was McGonagle then jumps out of the car, grabs the little boy and pushes him into the back seat of the car near Myrtle and Hillside avenues around 8:45 p.m., according to the footage.

The frantic mother managed to get her son out of an open window of the car before the vehicle started.

Sources said the mother and her children were on their way to her husband’s work to bring him food when the near kidnapping occurred.
