Suspicious package detected in the plane at Newark Liberty

Police at the Port Authority said that a flight attendant from an aircraft at Newark Liberty International Airport had identified a suspicious object in the cabin on Saturday morning.

The flight was a JetBlue 573 flight to Tampa.

A K-9 team was dispatched to search the plane and 150 passengers were evacuated and brought back to the terminal.
